What a surprise!!!
Mid March 2017 I came back from Kenya from a project trip in Mpenda Kula where people where working hard to find WATER.
When I was settled home I received a phone call from Bert Kanter. He said; of course you don’t know who I am but I want to introduce myself!

Bert told me, that via the website of Wilde Ganzen he had seen a project of Stichting Pamoja Kenia, which was successfully done and he admired our foundation.

He himself has always been sailing and has a boat himself, he definitely has something with WATER and just like us, he finds it very important that everybody in the world has access to WATER and wanted to contribute in his own way to make this happen.
Bert and Miranda where going to get married on July 9th 2017 and they didn’t want to receive any presents but a financial donation, which they wanted to donate to Stichting Pamoja Kenya!!!         I was completely flabbergasted and surprised and…touched. How cool is that.
Something beautiful like this of people you don’t know at all and are willing to do this for people in the region of Matsangoni, Kilifi county in Kenya.

Also, the fact that they have so much confidence in our foundation is really unbelievable. Really fantastic. Thank you very much Bert and Miranda also from our team in The Netherlands and our team in Kenya, fortunately you were able to show this during our African evening recently.

The upbring of the donations was € 1000,- and is a really beautiful amount what contributes to the water well and the sanitation block for the medical clinic of Maramu and the village of Maramu in the region Matsangoni, Kilifi county, Kenya.

Philip Kahindi from Kenya has made this basket himself of sisal for the donations at the wedding. He has send it via regular post to Holland.
