Your intermediary between Kenya/Africa and The Netherlands
You want to do business in Kenya?
You want to go on safari in Kenya?
You want your family to come over from Kenya?
You want to make a water well in your village in Kenya?
I can advise and help you. I am your contact person between Africa and the Netherlands. I know the African way of working, which is different than the Dutch way. I create the translation between the cultures of Africa and Netherlands for you.
Each year I am in Kenya 1 or 2 times. It’s my second home. I have built a good network there, next to the large network that I already have in the Netherlands for a long time. It’s my strength to connect people and organisations via those networks. Networking is my second nature and comes to me naturally. I do it always, at any time. For my work, for my foundation and in private. For example, if someone is looking for a carpenter, my ‘wheels’ start working right away.
MV Afrika Consultancy takes care of your concerns
Why did I start MV Africa Consultancy? Because I have noticed that there is a considerable demand for advice and assistance in the field of the relationship between Africa/Kenya and the Netherlands. MV Afrika Consultancy is an extension of and born from Stichting Pamoja Kenia.
If you have a busy job in the Netherlands at an embassy or organization, you do not have the time to make yourself familiarized with the Dutch culture. Which sites are worth visiting? Where do I shop? When are the holidays? And so on. Of course you can google on the internet, but usually you do not speak Dutch and you cannot read Dutch. MV Afrika Consultancy provides you with assistance and introduces you to the Netherlands.
You are a Kenyan/African and want to do something for your people in Kenya/Africa. For example, dig a well and install a water pump. You are interested in the concept of Pamoja Kenia, but you do not know how or where to start to provide both the financial and practical means. MV Afrika Consultancy can help you on this point to. We only work with local people in Kenya. These people associate with Pamoja Kenia and are hired by MV Afrika Consultancy to help you on your way. We work together with BIS (Bureau for International Cooperation) and can set up a project plan together with BIS to realize projects in Kenya/Africa through funds from the Netherlands. For that you pay a small fee to BIS.
For me nothing is more pleasant and grateful than connect people with each other and achieve good results in that way. It’s very rewarding. I strongly believe in cooperation and learning from each other. That may sound theatrical, but it seems to me the only way to achieve something. That is why our foundation is called Pamoja Kenia. Pamoja means ‘together’ in Swahili, the language people speak in Kenya.
