It’s been two weeks since we had our benefit evening in the Maranatha church in The Hague. We look back on a very nice evening with people who were in a good mood and feel involved in our projects in Kenya. Later this week you can see the pictures on our website.
I want to thank you all for your presence and generous contributions for the auction and raffle. It has touched me very much that so many people have a place in their heart for me and my foundation. Thank you so much for this!
I said ‘thank you’ to a number of people personally, but for those whom I missed: I apologize, but it’s been a very hectic time for me.
A nice amount
We have collected a nice amount of money: € 3.340,-. With this amount we cannot install a water pump and well immediately. We are waiting for the payment from some of you for your purchase at the auction. When we have that money we can look at our finances. From 12 January to 7 February I will be in Kenya and can see what we can do with the money. It’s probably a good idea to put it on the bank account of Pamoja Kenya and do the project in the middle of 2015.
Additional donations
We have submitted our project at Wilde Ganzen. If they approve the project, they will add 1/3 of the amount we have collected with our benefit evening.
Our project has been approved by Get It Done. People can also donate now through www.getitdone.org. The name of the project: Water in Matsangoni.
